Every person and every family has a unique calling and purpose for their lives. After spending years serving in the U.S. in various ways, God placed a call on our hearts for South Africa that required us to take a giant leap of faith. Doors wildly opened, and a miraculous chain of events occurred that has led us to the greatest adventure of our lives!
Our family is working to help create sustainable communities that are partnered with the local church. We are committed to the journey of restoring dignity, value, & purpose.
What we’ve been up to...
- This Auction is a FUND RAISER to raise funds to purchase a vehicle for the Harger Family in Cape Town South Africa. Many businesses and families have given generously - will you join them? Each item has an official number. More items are coming in. Be sure to check back. On-line bids close at 3PM Sunday July 28th. These will become the opening bids at the live auction beginning at 6PM. Come to the live auction where you will experience Stephan Green, singer/songwriter for Elevation Worship, have an opportunity to meet and talk with the Harger Family and have last opportunity for bidding! At approximately 7:30 pm we will go live right here on FB to allow on-line bidders a last bid. Shipping is available for any item at the bidder's expense. We do reserve the right to pull any item from the auction if the minimum reserve is not met. More about the Harger Family... This local family has been living in South Africa for several years now serving the settlements and communities there and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Hargers' ministry, No Muck*, has partnered with Hillsong Church and the Hillsong Africa Foundation where they have seen lives radically changed including the healing of their very own son from Eosinophilic Esophagitis last year (a rare case of the disease that made him allergic to ALL food.) They are in need of reliable transportation for their family as they currently riding the bus, skateboarding or walking every place they need to go. - The last few weeks have held some devastating events for the communities surrounding us. Because of unfit living conditions, fires have broken out destroying the homes and lives of so many people. As we stood in the middle of these ravaged areas, it was hard to comprehend the widespread loss and families who had no place to go until the government arrives with makeshift shelters. We have been a part of teams that are coordinating efforts for relief, but we would like to ask that you please keep these communities in your thoughts and prayers as they work to pick up the broken and charred pieces of their lives. . . . . .

- Our work here in keeps getting better every day! Meet Dolly and Gugu, two people who we have grown to deeply love over this past year. It has been an honor to serve them and they have no idea how many ways they've blessed our family. Gugu told her mom last week that she really wanted to get one Christmas present this year. In faith that there would be provision, Dolly told her to pray and ask God herself. Through the generous work of our local church and our incredible team, we were able to give Gugu not just one present, but a box full of presents that showed how much Jesus hears her prayers and loves her and her mom. It's because of people like you that we get the privilege of serving this wonderful nation and the beautiful and wonderfully diverse people in it. Thank you for trusting us to carry out this work!
